A multiple bestselling author

A multiple bestselling author, Michelle Dorey has written more than a dozen spine-chilling novels featuring ghosts, haunted houses and the supernatural.

A voracious reader of the masters like Stephen King and Dean Koontz, her debut novel was inspired by attending a Ghost Walk in the enigmatic city of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Crawley House was inspired by a true tale of a family’s nightmare, living in a Victorian era home.

“Expect the supernatural when the bedrock of a city is limestone. When this ancient rock is surrounded on three sides by water as my home town is… well, you have the perfect setting for eerie events—which of course is my cup of tea.”

Wife and mother, Michelle is also a dog lover, human to Suki and Ruby. She loves them dearly, but for the last eight years on walks, they absolutely refuse to enter grounds of a beautiful historic cemetery near her home.

Michelle has written two complete series, The Hauntings Of Kingston and The Haunted Ones set in upper New York State.

She also publishes novels in the paranormal urban fantasy genre. The Mystical Veil follows an ordinary but slightly sarcastic young woman as she follows the path which was pre-ordained for her at birth. Keira reluctantly accepts her eccentric grandmother’s guidance as her psychic powers manifest.

Another series written in 2020, Celtic Knot, is a combination of urban fantasy with Irish mythology. Bernadette accidentally awakens an ancient Celtic god when she visits Ireland. When he insists that he owes her a blood debt and accompanies her back to the Big Apple it’s a roller coaster ride of crazy twists and turns. It doesn’t help that, his best friend, a Fae Prince and a dog of war tag along.

Haunted Ones

Meryl was warned…

Her best friend is a psychic. She told her not to go to that cabin with Jordan.
“Not only is it isolated, in the middle of nowhere, but it has a dark history. Two people died there tragically!”
But she’s determined to support her boyfriend Jordan, in his grief. The cabin is now his, bequeathed to him by his favorite uncle. Besides which, Meryl and Jordan are old hands at roughing it in the forest.
Right from the start, the paranormal makes its presence known. A door creaks open on its own, even though the bedroom was locked when she first tried it. That room is a shrine, perfectly intact and there’s a diary—a twisted tale of treachery and deceit. Unexplained noises, cryptic messages left for her, fleeting glimpses of ghostly entities and the eerie sense that she’s being watched.
She is.
The ghosts have been waiting for revenge.

Don’t read this book at night, especially if you’re alone. A chilling, frightening story of ghosts and thrilling supernatural suspense
